A New Take on Rewarding Your Community: Welcome to Atlas Roaring (Powered by Glow Labs)

The Atlas Lyons Club was founded on a simple principle: Help people find their place in Web3. Whether it was finding a community to call home, starting your own Web3 company or putting your Web2 skills to use in a new market, the goal is to help leave people with more than they came in with.

Our first step toward this mission with our community driven incubator. After ~30 project submissions and multiple rounds of voting, we’re happy to say that Blockchain Beavers is well on its way to becoming a premier Web3 platform to help everyone have access to crypto mining.

Now we take our next step…

Introducing Atlas Roaring: a rewards driven platform that aims to benefit members of the Atlas Lyons Club (and potentially future incubator projects).

This platform is powered by one of our initial partners: Glow Labs, an innovative platform designed to reward communities with both on-chain and off-chain activity.

The plan is to start small and simple with this rewards platform and grow from there based on engagement.

Program Structure
In order to participate in the program, you will have to do 3 things:

1. Own a Matchbox: To participate in Atlas Roaring, you first need to own an Atlas Lyons matchbox (Available on secondary or at https://mint.atlaslyons.com)
2. Register for Rewards: You then need to connect your wallet and Twitter account to the rewards site hosted by Glow Labs (https://glowlabsrewards.xyz/claim/atlaslyons)
3. Engage with the Atlas Lyons Twitter Account: Like, Comment, RT, mention Atlas Lyons to earn rewards.(https://twitter.com/AtlasLyons)

That’s it. We wanted to make this first foray into rewards as simple as we could for our community, leveraging the platform created by Glow Labs.

Rewards
So all this talk about “rewards” are you actually earning?

The answer to that: ApeCoin.

Why ApeCoin? Well there are a few reasons:

1. Tangible Value: We toyed with the idea of creating our own ERC-20 token for the reward. However, we wanted to reward our community with something that had immediate and known value. This way, you know what you are getting into when you choose to participate in the program.
2. ApeCoin Staking: With the upcoming staking mechanics for ApeCoin, we wanted to give our community members a chance to participate in the process and join the broader BAYC community.
3. Yuga Maxis: And finally, we’re just a team of Apes who have been Yuga maxis from the beginning. From our first BAYC purchases in May 2021 until now, we’re big proponents of what the team at Yuga continues to build and want to play whatever small part we can in the process.

The first campaign launches on September 30, 2022 and will last for about 3 months (or whenever we run out of ApeCoin). We’ll then assess how it went and hopefully launch future campaigns, both for the Atlas Lyons Club as well as our incubator projects.
